About Amazon-L and Breast Cancer Think Tank
The Amazon Email Discussion Group, also called the Amazon-L listserv,
was founded in 1996 by Bonnie Bedford in Canada, establishing the first
community of its kind on the web. In 1997, the listownership passed to
Belinda Berry who brought the group to its current host on Techion. The
Amazon group is currently managed by Lynne and Sally.
Amazon has developed a unique sense of purpose since 1996 when the
many women determined to find the truth about breast cancer treatments
began their tireless fact-finding expedition. This research has lead in
divergent research directions but we are committed to this diversity as a
source of inspiration and strength. Just as we are united in research, we see
our mission as supporting each other and guiding newly diagnosed women
through the minefield of the medical system. View The Amazon Charter here.
The Breast Cancer Think Tank Group was created to explore evidence
and concepts that arise in the world of breast cancer research. Our objective
is to report new findings and review old information with the spirit of challenge
and debate.
